our story

qoup was founded by nahuel lopez – a writer, director and filmmaker with a distinct visual voice. he began his career in print journalism before moving into television – contributing to the ard talk show beckmann as editor, and later shaping the editorial and visual identity of zdf’s markus lanz. in 2015, he launched granvista media – a production company for documentary, fictional and commercial storytelling. its films span cinema, streaming and broadcast – internationally awarded for their intensity, atmosphere and visual precision.

qoup grew from this creative ground – and from a personal encounter with space.

while restoring a listed farmhouse in mecklenburg, lopez discovered the quiet language of architecture – and the tactile honesty of natural materials like clay, hemp and stone. surrounded by wide skies, forests and open fields, the house became more than a project. it became a conversation: between old and new, weight and light, form and silence. it was there that architecture revealed itself as narrative – shaped by proportion, material, and the nature that holds it.

with a strong editorial voice and cinematic production, qoup aims to become a platform for collaboration and visibility: between architecture and design. between creators and audiences. between brands and context.
